How to Publicize Shmitta & Inspire Everyone to Keep it

• Via Shira Pollack in Bnei Brak: After last shmitta there was a long motorcade and pedestrian parade for two hours on the main streets of Bnei Brak to honor the farmers who kept shmitta. These were farmers with many of their vehicles. Shira spoke to one farmer's wife: it is true, she said, that there is money to subsidize farmers to live through the year, however, it was still so harsh a year and hard financially to keep shmitta.
  
  We are making a project to have more parades like the above all over Israel after this current shmitta year. We have videos that are going to be made to capture the experiences of the farmers this shmitta year.
  
  We would want to interview the farmers that were in the parade 7 years ago and make a video of the 'adventures' and miracles of shmitta this year and in former years. Let everyone hear about it.
  
  We would want all Jews in Israel to keep shmitta on their porches, patios, backyards, in their kitchens--only shmitta produce.

  The leader in shmitta is Rabbi Yosef Efrati, who is under the wing of Rabbi Eliashuv. He wrote with Rabbi Meir Heisler a very popular sefer summarizing the laws of shmitta. It was originally available two shmittas (15 years ago). There are two parts that are translated (see above websites to view). These websites above are the translation, which appeared in the Yated Ne'eman. Rabbi Efrati has the study academy that is publishing the above mentioned pamphlets.
